Compose a poem, scene, or story in an imaginary museum, one unlike any you’ve ever been in. Your aim is to say something — that is, to have something to say. What is it that you have to say? Why does it matter? Why should we care? Other questions you might ask yourself: What is collected in this museum? Why are they collected there? What does the collection say about your culture? Your concerns? Your fears? Your aspirations? Your culture’s concerns and fears and aspirations? In what way have you used your choice of voice, language, point of view, andĀ setting to convey what it is you’d like to convey?
